Oscar  Pistorius was born without a fibula in both of his legs and both of his legs were amputated before he turned one. he took up running at age 16 and captured a gold in the 2004 Paralympics in Athens. he also he became the first double amputee to compete in the olympics after making his apperance in the 2012 London Olympic games and qualified for the 400-meter race but was eliminated in the semifinal round.Oscar still secured his place in history
