BKHS PROMO VIDEO

this Promo Video is about everyday life on the campus of Bishop Kenny High School it required a number of shot from around the schools campus and in addition to it, it also required a voice over of the script that was used in the video the project was mainly easy i would say the hardest part of constructing the video would have to be actually put the video together and putting the shot in the places that they need to go.

Welcome to Bishop Kenny. I’d like to tell you about my high school, a 4 year Catholic college preparatory school established in 1952 [shot of the bishop Kenny sign] and operated by the diocese of St. Augustine.   [shot of the school] 

The school is located in Northeast Florida on the South side of Jacksonville, a metropolitan center with a population of over 1 million people.[ shot of the city from the football field] 

Approximately 1,200 students are enrolled in grades 9-12. [shot of the school]

We have the opportunity to get involved in numerous extracurricular activities ranging from service organizations, to fine arts clubs, to honor societies.[ shot of ROTC] 

School spirit abounds during Homecoming week each year and at athletic contests both home and away. [ shot of sports activity after school]

in this screen cast i will show you how to export videos to a DV file

what i liked about this video is that it was short and straight to the point

what i like about this video is that he told me exactly what to do

he makes it easy for me to know what im doing to create a ringtone for my iphone

In this video i learned video shot composition, how to setup the tripod and get the camera angle to take these shots, how to use final cut, how o export these files to DV, how to add a title page, shot titles, and scrolling text to the end of the video. i think the hardest shot to shoot was the long shot high angle because i was hard to get the right angle from far away. i think the easiest shot of the video was extreme close up eye level because all i needed the person in the video to do was stand right in front of the camera. i believe this project will help me with future projects because i will already know how to work everything. i think completing this assignment was pretty easy.
