Olympic blade runner Oscar Pistorius denied that he willfully killed his girlfriend after shooting her a couple of days ago.

Pistorius claims that the whole thing was a complete incident and claims that thought his girlfriend was a person that was trying to break into his home and shot her out of self defense

i feel that if this was an incident or not that he will have suffer the consequences and do the time for committing this crime even if it wasn't intending.

Pope Benedict XVI the spiritual leader of 1.2 billion catholics shocked the wold on monday morning when he announced that he will be resigning from his religious duties as the Pope

Pope Benedict's reason for stepping down is because he has said that he is "too tired and too weak to carry on his duties" and he is looked to step down on February 28th. The news startled and shocked the Catholic world and led to frenzied speculation about who would replace him.

this is the first time in nearly 600 years that a pope has resigned to his duties. i personally think that is a big shock to the Catholic community. and also that is has everyone off guard. all we can d now is wait and see who will be the one to replace Pope Benedict XVI.

on February 4th it marked the 100th year birthday of the famous rosa park who being named the mother of the civil rights movement refused to give up her seat to a white man on a bus and then was later taken to jail for not doing so.

unfortunately Parks was not able to see her 100th birthday because she past away 5 year ago at the age of 92. Rosa parks was also honored at this years inauguration for her brave acts.

i think that it is a great honor that Rosa park is being remembered for what she did and she also changed the lives of many African Americans all over the world
